CRU des Cotes du Rhone 

Recently awarded its prestigious CRU status in recognition of the quality produced in its vineyards. Cairanne lies in the heart of the Rhone. This cuvée pays homage to this new appellation . Home of the Knights of the Hospitaliers de St Jean in the 12th century . Sworn to assist in the defence of Jerusalem before the first crusade . The village , wth its ancient stone buildings retains and atmosphere of those medieval times.

This Cairanne is made from quality Syrah and Grenache Grapes . Partially ages for 12 months in French oak barriques.

A deep cherry red blue colour and a moreish nose of vanilla , morello cherries , chocolate and a tauch of clove spice , the finish of this full floavoured Rhone
