The history of Clés des Ducs Armagnacs merges with that of Armagnac and Gascony in this formidable and ardent land where a tradition of nobility and elegance is rooted.
The first eaux-de-vie appeared in the 15th century.It all started in the heart of the Gers in the village of Panjas.
Our Armagnac is mostly made using the Ugni Blanc grape and have very little wood influence.
After the distillation, we prefer to use barrels that have had a light to medium toasting.
The ageing in new barrels is limited to just three to four months in order to limit the wood intake.
