JAMESON CASKMATES IPA EDITION 700ML

Having previously swapped stout barrels with their friends at a local craft brewery in 2013, they couldn’t wait to try a new beer mate with their casks. After careful exploration, They had a hunch that a zesty Irish pale ale (IPA) would be the perfect partner. So, they loaned barrels to thier neighbours, Eight Degrees Brewing, to make a Jameson-seasoned IPA, and the beer-soaked barrels returned to the distillery full of new, crisp hoppy notes. The barrels were refilled with Jameson and the wait began. The signature smoothness is still there, but rubbing shoulders with the IPA has introduced light hints of hops, fresh citrus and floral notes.

Nose

Floral, herbal hints of hops and grapefruit citrus notes with subtle orchard fruits, complemented by wood shavings and a little nuttiness.

Taste

Hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones.

Finish

Lingering fresh fruit and hops give way to grains of barley and our signature smooth finish.
