The Robert Burns Blend with 700 ml. and 43% vol. reflects the high art of whisky blending. The Arran Master Blender has succeeded in creating an excellent blend with the Robert Burns Blended Scotch Whisky. As a tribute to Scotland's greatest poets, the Arran Blended Scotch Whisky, as well as the Arran Single Malt Whisky with the name Robert Burns, can be seen. Both distillates are decorated with a bottle label with the image of Robert Burns, as well as his dates of birth and death. The Robert Burns signature and a quote complete the design of the Robert Burns editions. After his quote "Here is a bottle and an honest friend", the Arran Blended Scotch Whisky should be drunk with a friend. The Robert Burns Blend from Arran is also very popular as a guest gift
The Blended Scotch Whisky owes its unique character and high quality to the large proportion of single malt whisky. The Arran Master Blender does not reveal what other distillates are in the game. The marriage is dry and light in the Robert Burns Blend and has wonderful notes of vanilla and sweet fruits. In the glass, the Arran Blended Scotch Whisky shines in golden amber. The raspberry and almond flavour is rounded off with roasted oak and toffee. Sherry and delicate banana also recognise the nose. In the dry and light palate, sweet apples, vanilla, toffe, figs and dry oak work harmoniously with liquorice. In the background there is very discreetly peaty smoke. The Arran Blended Scotch Whisky Robert Burns says goodbye fresh and warming, with the persistent sweetness of vanilla.
The Scottish poet Robert Burns was born in 1759 in Alloway, Ayrshire. From the fields of the parental farm, he could see the Isle of Arran. Robert Burns worked as a farmer, poet and customs officer. With his masterpieces such as Tam O'Shanter and Red Red Rose, he inspired the hearts of the Scots who still worship the poet Robert Burns today. The Isle of Arran Distillers are cartridges of the Robert Burns World Federation and honour the poet who was considered a Scotch lover with the two bottlings of Robert Burns whiskies.
