Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, sometimes known by the nickname "Ace of Spades Champagne" is produced by the award winning Cattier family, who have owned and cultivated vineyards in the Champagne region's Montagne de Reims Terroir since 1763.

Grapes used for Armand de Brignac are selected from only the finest Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Marne region, considered one of the finest in Champagne. Only the best fraction of the first pressing of the grapes on a traditional Champenois Coquart press is used for Armand de Brignac (most producers use larger, valve-driven presses); this ensures a slow, high-quality yield, resulting in a fantastic drinking champagne.
