Currently The Kraken is produced with sugar cane distillates from Trinidat and Tobago, to which various spices and caramel are added. At the smell it is very aromatic, at the palate it is soft and round, with notes of vanilla, liquorice, caramel and cane sugar: a perfect rum for tasting, despite the dark colour and slightly smoky aroma.
